This is an antique British WWI soldier photograph that is ID'ed on the back, " Col. Walter W. Sewell...Company D...2/1 Dorset....Kent". There is more information but I can't make it out. See my photo of the back side. You may be more familiar with the town names and make it out. This is a professional studio portrait but has been trimmed. It was pasted in an album and some black album paper is stuck on the back. This is an original item, not a copy.
