WATERMAN "LE MAN 100" BALLPOINT PEN AND PENCIL SET
The Le Man collection was commissioned to commemorate Waterman's centennial in 1982 as the Flagship Luxury Model of the Waterman Line.
It has a Luxurious Black Lacquer Resin finish over an extremely durable Solid Brass Body accented with 23.5k gold electroplated trim and clip.
The ballpoint is supplied with a Waterman black ink refill.
The pencil uses the more desirable  0.5mm lead.
A note on the pencil:  I don't know if it's caused by years of just setting in a display case or not but the automatic lead feed is only partially working.
It will feed the lead but will not stop automatically.  I stop it manually and it works fine.  This may correct with frequent use or may indicate a need for some type of correction.  At any rate I felt you should know about this up front.
The condition of both pieces is excellent - no dings, dents, scratches or distress of any kind.
Hallmarks are:  On the gold ring on the caps "WATERMAN"  "MADE IN FRANCE". and on the tip of the Gold Clip "WAT" "S.A"
The pencil is rarely listed for sale anywhere - the ballpoint alone, when you can find it, is normally listed to sell anywhere from 9. to 0.00 PLUS.
