    Description

Hon3 D&RGW Billmeyer and Smalls Flat Car 17', 3D printed using a resin based SLA Printer. Compatible with Kadee 718 wheelsets which are not included, this version is compatible with Microtrains 1015 couplers. Microtrains 1015's are compatible with Kadee 714 couplers found on most HOn3 Equipment. Brake wheel are molded on, and fragile. Will combine shipping on multiple cars, I would reccomend buying the flatcars in pairs to help prevent damage durring shipping.
The D&RG had 90 of these car's durring the construction of the line in Colorado, The flat cars we're often used in pairs to haul 28' lengths of rail. These were quickly replaced by larger cars also produced by Billmeyer and Smalls
Please note, the fine details such as the grab irons and brake wheel are rather fragile. I will pack these as securely as possible but damage to these delicate parts is possible. Currently they are all printed on the car, but if strength becomes an issue they will be done separate to increase strength while shipping. Wheels shown in the photos are for representation only
Due to the curing process, cars may have slight bowing or warping.
If you are interested in other Narrow Gauge equipment for your model railroad, please reach out to me. I will gladly explore options for developing new Models and printing them for you.

What do you need to complete this car?-
    - A set of wheelsets, kadee 718 are the most commonly available. The prototype used 20" wheels as opposed to 26". I am not aware of anyone who makes HOn3 20" wheel sets but N scale 36" wheel sets are the correct diameter. Some kit bashing could be employed to create the "Correct" size wheels-
    - Microtrains 1015 couplers, assemble the coupler box and glue to the slot on the underside of the car
    - Paint! These are printed with a UV sensitive resin, any model pain should work fine
    - Decals
