We are offering
a pair of sterling silver sugar tongs by
Georg Jensen in the "Bernadotte" pattern from 1939
This pattern was established by the designer Sigvard Bernadotte, prince
of the Swedish royal house, who designed the cutlery in the functional
style of the 1930s, thus enriching Georg Jensen's simple and elegant range.
After its debut, the former Danish King Christian X made the modern design
classics his court silverware.

Condition:
Good age related condition. Minor scuffs throughout. The tongs still function
with ease and good tension remains.
