    Description

    This rare card  was issu
    ed
by the KROEGER PIANO Company of New York City,  New York to advertise their brands of Pianos   It is from a series of what I believe to be U.S. Naval Unforms.  I have seen two other card from this series and they both feature different Unforms of the U.S. Navy, so I am making this assumption.  I have not found the series listed in any guide that I am aware of (Burdick’s America Card Catalogue, Non-Sports Bible ect.).  I can find no information with regards to date of issue either However, based on the style of the uniform,  I speculate  it to have been late 1890’s early 1900’s.   The front of the card features a fairly detail
    ed
portrait of the uniform for the given rank featured. It also says in the fine print at the bottom front “Design Copyrighted by RAPHAEL TUCK and SONS CO. LTD.  Printed in Germany”   The back has advertising for various Kroeger Pianos Products, and a description of the Featured uniform, as well as an overstamp of the retailer who sold the Kroeger products   This card features the uniform of  LIEUTENANT COMMANDER OF THE U.S. NAVY   The Card measures 2 5/8  inches by 4 ¼  inches  approximately. The card does have some small spots of print loss to the back, however the rest of the card is from creases and features a nice  image   I have scann
    ed
the card fairly large for you to be able to judge condition for yourself   This is a RARE CARD that has huge cross over collect-ability.  Covet

by both Non-Sports Card collectors and those interest

    in AMERICAN MILITARY HISTORY.

I am actually located in Canada just across the border.  I have a U.S.A. mailing address, and I mail my items from the USA to avoid border delays.
Due to my work schedule and distance to the post office I am only able to ship  Monday Mornings
.  If I haven’t received payment for an item the EVENING BEFORE Monday  the item will have to wait until the next Monday  to go out. Its unfortunate but unavoidable.  If this doesn’t work for you I respectfully ask that you do not bid or buy. Thanks again.
I will COMBINE SHIPPING within Canada and the USA on items of similar size that are sold on the same day.
I am sorry but ebay's global shipping program does not allow combined shipping on International shipments
